DESCRIPTION
Dreading the "Dog Days of Summer" again this year? The Newark Museum's Dog Days of Summer outdoor movie series promises to be something you and your friends (both two and four legged) will look forward to this August.
The Alice Ransom Dreyfuss Memorial Garden will be open late for fans of canine-themed classics. There will be plenty of room for you and your pet to spread out with your own blanket or low lawn chair. Designated seating for our members who choose not to bring Fido along will also be provided.
Films start at approximately 8:30pm and are free for members, Newark residents, children (under 10) and furry friends. Non-members purchase tickets for $10.00 for each Thursday or $25.00 for all three weeks of the series.
August 10th: Secret Life of Pets
August 17th: Good Boy
August 24th: Hotel for Dogs

• Cold, non-alcoholic beverages will be served by the Museum
• If you bring a picnic, please keep food contained and away from other pets
• Social pets only
• Simple waiver required upon arrival stating you will keep your dog on a leash and will clean up after him/her
• In case of inclement weather, check the Museum's website

The Newark Museum is a not-for-profit museum of art, science and education in Newark, New Jersey.  

Open Wednesdays through Sundays noon – 5pm. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays, New Years Day, July 4, Thanksgiving and December 25.  

Parking is available in our secure lot for a nominal charge.
