Valentine’s Day! Love, Sex and Romance!! Lineup for the 2015 Love Actually Short Film Showcase at #DCTV 2/14/15, 6-10pm, *nyc

SCENEPR & NY Film Loft announce the lineup for it’s 8th Annual Love Actually International Short Film Showcase, being hosted at Downtown Community Television (DCTV) on Saturday, February 14th, 2015 from 6-10pm. This non-competitive program showcases brilliant films about love, sex and romance from around the world.

“We always have a great line up, but this year we had an extremely hard time selecting the final list.”, explained festival curator and NY Film Loft Co-Founder Daron Jenkins, “We never imagined the amount of fantastic indie films we would receive this year! I am very excited about this years event! I think we have probably one of our strongest lineups yet.”

Always a sold out show, Love Actually is annually one of the most popular Valentine’s Day events in NYC! Singles and couples come out to enjoy this cinematic celebration of Love, Sex and Romance. The event always features something interesting for it’s crowd and this year is no different. Besides it’s trademark wine & cheese pre-mixer, the event will be Emceed by Felicia Lin and Victor Scott Rodriguez, co-authors of the new book, “Metropolicks”. Metropolicks is a sexy, romantic comedy novel chronicling the dating and relationship adventures of five New Yorkers. Learn more about Metropolicks.

The event is a full fledged night of fun, film and romance! But it all begins with eight talented filmmakers and their films. Via a selection process that featured the submission of over 200+ short films from #filmmakers in over 25 countries, being over, Love Actually has finally narrowed it down to 8 talented filmmakers. Here are the eight films selected to screen at this years event:
