High School Students! Summer Film Production School w/ Lincoln Center *Deadline 7/4

The Film Society of Lincoln Center Summer Film Intensive (SFI) is a one-week film production-intensive program in partnership with Ghetto Film School (GFS), an award-winning independent film organization that teaches narrative storytelling to 650 young artists annually through pre-professional programs in the South Bronx and MacArthur Park, and over 300,000 nationwide and beyond through strategic collaborations and an online MasterClass series.

The SFI will serve 25 students and runs July 21 – 26, 2014.

We would like to thank the New Wave Young Patrons of the Film Society of Lincoln Center, Dolby, and the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Foundation for their generous support.

Summer Film Program (July 21 – 26 2014)
• Introduction to cinematic storytelling which will include 50+ hours of direction instruction and total production.
• Daily workshops, screenings, and interactive seminars with industry professionals like Armond White, Dolby Digital, and Criterion Collection.
• All students will complete scripts, cast actors, shoot, direct and edit individual narrative 2 to 3-minute shorts with no dialogue.
• Student work showcased at Lincoln Center.
