Dean Moss‘s johnbrown is an interdisciplinary performance project that meditates on the legacy of abolitionist John Brown. Through a series of emotionally precise segments, the work draws unexpected parallels to the radical activist and questions not only his controversial legacy, but also the generational processes at play in the inquiry. At BRIC, Moss will work with his company and a group of teen artists selected to participate in the project.
