Join 1776 at the Challenge Festival in May!

We want to be the first to tell you about the culmination of 1776’s global Challenge Cup Tournament:

The Challenge Festival!

Thousands of people from around the world will join us in Washington D.C. from May 10 to 17 for the Challenge Festival, a week of events showcasing startups tackling global challenges. It will also celebrate the culmination of 1776’s Challenge Cup, a global competition featuring startups revolutionizing education, energy, health care and cities. 1776 is partnering with iStrategyLabs and Tech Cocktail to produce the Challenge Festival.

The Festival will highlight how the next wave of the Internet revolution will disrupt the industries most important to our future through lunchtime panels, the startup government day-long event and events led by key partner organizations.

Headlining the Festival is the Challenge Cup Global Finals, where the 64 winners from 16 international competitions will compete to win the Challenge Cup. Since October, our Challenge Cup team has traveled the globe to 16 cities, from Cape Town and Austin to Moscow and New York, to find the most promising entrepreneurs. The Challenge Festival will bring the top startups selected from these cities together to compete and spend a week connecting to the political, social, intellectual and financial capital that are unique to Washington, D.C. We hope you will join us in welcoming them to our city and participate in the amazing lineup of events!
