651 ARTS – applications for the 2014 New Media & Arts Fellowship now available

651 ARTS is excited to announce that applications for the 2014 New Media & Arts Fellowship (NMAF) are available! We are so thrilled to bring back this great educational opportunity to high school students for its third year and we couldn’t be happier to add our newest partner, BRIC Arts and Media, to the fold. In addition, we will continue our collaboration with Chen Lo, creator of Soul Science Lab and music composer, Tut Asante Amin. This year, the Fellowship will add to 651’s 25th Anniversary Celebration by creating projects based on performance art history and cultural preservation.

NMAF is a series of in-depth, technology-based workshops and training that certifies students with extensive exposure to new media through skills in video, audio, television studio production, music production, editing and more.  The fellowship runs from January-May and culminates in an awards ceremony to celebrate the NMAF final projects.

NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY to apply, just an enthusiastic attitude!
