How the 2013 program works

Complete profile and questionnaireOct. 1–31
Small businesses create an account, fill out a business profile and submit a questionnaire.

Application Period Closed

Consumer votingOct. 1–Nov. 15
Anyone can show support by voting using their Facebook account. Businesses must receive at least 250 votes to be considered for a grant.

Grants awardedJan. 2014
Expert panelists will select the 12 grant recipients from eligible businesses and announce the results in January 2014.
